Madmediaman Share Some Insights into Star Wars Rebels TV Ratings

In the article, "Disney… You’re Killing Me Smalls Pt. 2 (This Time With Good News)," Madmediaman at shares some interesting insights in Star Wars Rebels TV ratings.

He points out that Star Wars Rebels reruns on the Disney Channel are getting fantastic ratings, while the ratings on Disney XD are declining.

I confirmed via TV By The Numbers, that Star Wars Rebels rerun episode that aired on November 7 at 9/8c had 2.333 million viewers with a .5 in the 18-49 demographic, and the rerun episode at 9:30/8:30c had 1.918 millions viewers with a .4 in the 18-49 demographic.  These are basically double the series high of 1.03 million viewers for "Droids in Distress" on Disney XD.

Madmediaman made a fantastic point about why Star Wars Rebels is airing on Disney XD.
"Clearly Disney has little expectations for ratings on DisneyXD, and like the Marvel properties, views the brand as nothing more than a means to lure viewers to their struggling cable channel." Read More
Tonight, the Disney Channel will be airing "Rise of the Old Masters" and "Breaking Ranks," and I will be keeping a close eye for the ratings of these reruns.
